Customer policies
Refund and dispute policy
For fixed fee projects, payments are refundable before project kickoff less any non recoverable platform fees. After kickoff, refunds are prorated based on work completed. For retainers, unused hours roll over one month and are then forfeited. Billing disputes must be reported within 15 days of invoice date. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
Cancellation policy
Month to month retainers may be cancelled any time before the next billing date. Project based engagements may be cancelled with 10 business days notice. Upon cancellation, you receive all completed deliverables and in progress assets, and a final prorated invoice is issued for work performed.
Returns and shipping
Medtexter provides professional services only. We do not ship physical goods and do not accept product returns.
Legal or export restrictions
Services exclude projects requiring handling of classified information or export controlled technologies under applicable laws. Clients are responsible for ensuring project compliance with industry specific regulations.
Terms of Service
By engaging Medtexter, you agree to the scope, pricing, and timelines specified in written estimates or statements of work. All intellectual property created during the engagement is assigned upon full payment unless otherwise specified. Liability is limited to the fees paid for the 3 months preceding the claim. No consequential damages.
Privacy Policy
We collect business contact information that you provide, such as name, email, phone, and company. We use it to respond to inquiries, deliver services, and send essential communications. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; Medtexter does not store full card numbers. You may request data access or deletion at any time by contacting privacy@medtexter.com.
Promotions
Any promotional pricing or credits will specify start date, end date, eligibility, and redemption terms. Promotions cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
